About Me
Hi, thanks for dropping by!
I am Christine, and I have dreams of filling my wardrobe with handmade garments made with natural fibers and a bunch of historical flair. The only way I know to do this, is to start sewing!

Sewing has been a favored past-time of mine since the age of 9, when I made my very own Girl Scouts vest for all of the badges that I earned. Then, in high school, I took a couple of elective textile courses and learned the proper processes and developed the basic skills needed to sew.
At 18 years old I visited my first Renaissance Festival, and I was completely enraptured by the romantic costumes and ambience. It was at this moment when my obsession with historical fashion started. I ended up working out at the Renaissance Festival for 10 years, all the while making and collecting work costumes. Those costumes found their way into my daily wardrobe and I now just refer to them as clothes.

As the years passed, my involvement with the Renaissance Festival ended. The responsibilities of life needed to be the main focus for a while, which means I had little time or interest in sewing. But that time is done, and it is now time to pick up the needle and begin anew. I have finally started sewing again and I want to share my progress of making my dreams become reality.

Follow along with me! I can't wait to see what we learn together!
